Task One: Survival Basics
In David Hambling's informative article entitled How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse he informs the reader on the basics of what you need to survive from a zombie apocalypse. First you need to know your zombies, you need to know what kind there are and how you can deal with them. His second step would be weapons, you need to have weapons but it has to not be heavy, you will most likely kill a zombie faster with a close target. His last step is to keep your head, so for example you need to stay cool and moving . It would be good if you bring a couple of people with you so that you can watch out for one another. Hamblings purpose in this article would be to help you survive and give you some techniques to avoid being dead.

LITERATURE ANALYSIS #2
1. In novel The First Part Last by Angela Johnson is about a teenage boy named Bobby who is eager . On his sixteen birthday he gets news from his girlfriend Nia that she is pregnant. This will mean that his life will be changed forever. Bobby realizes that he will be a father. Until one day all of sudden school and house parties, hanging out with his friends no longer meant anything to him. Bobby and Nia are both desperate for having a normal life again. The only way that they can lead back to a normal life would be if the put their baby in adoption. They are trying to do the right thing but they don't know what to choose. After all they end up having everything ready to put their baby in adoption . When Nia had her baby Bobby was the first to have Feather in his arms , he fell in love with his baby and didn't want to give it in adoption so he told the social worker that his daughter will no longer go to adoption , he didn't care what it will take him to be a good father but he just wanted his daughter Feather. At the end he moves to Brooklyn with Feather and raises her there.
2. The theme of this novel is to figure out what " the right thing " is and then do it. No matter what the cost is : Bobby didn't let his baby be put in adoption.
3. I choose this book because the cover looks very interesting and I read the back of the book and it was actually very interesting.
4. This book seemed to me realistic because its based on a true story. However I have never been through this situation.
5. The authors tone in this book is more like very understanding and loving. Bobby understands that he is a dad now and he is going to be responsible for his newborn daughter.
6. Symbolism-”It would all be back the way it was before, in a month. Nothing would have changed. We’d leave school and keep on going. No baby in a month “ (106).
Characterization
Enduring Memory Paragraph

6. Symbolism-”It would all be back the way it was before, in a month. Nothing would have changed. We’d leave school and keep on going. No baby in a month “ (106).
Flashback- “Feather cried yesterday when I left her at the sitter’s. It’s the first time she ever cried for me “ (107).
Foreshadowing- “And that sweet new baby smell . . . the smell of baby shampoo, formula …”(4).
Setting- Brooklyn (128).
internal Conflict- “We made a mistake but we aren't stupid “(120).” ...then walked home and held Feather for the rest of the night, wondering if I would be a man, a good man”(8).
External Conflict-”maybe ill just tell him how all of a sudden the city just feels like its too big and I've been having dreams that I leave feather on the subway and can’t get back inside the train fast enough to get her, and she disappears forever” (129).
Dynamic Character- Bobby changed throughout the novel from being immature to being a very responsible guy.
Exposition- Nia, Bobby’s girlfriend is pregnant and they don't know weather to keep the baby : “ I can't answer , ‘ cause I really don't know what were going to do. I'm thinking of what's going to happen but, I don't know what to feel…”(85). “ I can't imagine a real baby” (85).
Motivation- The baby is Bobby’s motivation because he loves looking at her and being with her .
Characterization
1.) “sometimes she looks at me like she knows me.”(80)
Bobby is thinking that Feather has been with him his whole life just about every moment .
2.) The author changes diction when she talks about Bobby because she makes him sound different to other characters for example, he seems very independent and responsible compared to Nia his girlfriend “...she's been dancing with everybody”(82)
3.) The protagonist in the novel is more like a round and a dynamic character because Bobby went from immature to being very responsible . He also has many traits.
4.) I feel like i know Bobby because I've learned about his past and how he would just always party and paint on walls with his running buddies, and get in to trouble. He also got his girlfriend pregnant but they don't know what to do and weather to keep it or not. He then decides that he wants his daughter and keeps her, he realizes how much it cost to be a parent but he doesn't care because he loves Feather and is happy with her .Bobby acts eager, restless and impulsive throughout the novel because he is having a hard time in his life.

In the article “ The Sociology of Leopard Man “ by Logan Feys is about how the author Logan feels about “ how society tends to discourage people from expressing their unique ideas and behaving in ways that are different from their peers “. I agree with the author .
Logan Feys argument in this article is that he doesn't like people who try to get attention. He said “ Normally , i find myself unimpressed with individuals who radically change their appearance through extreme tattooing . piercings , hair mutilation , etc. “ It is clear that he doesn't like people who try to do something crazy to get society's attention; therefore, he says “ he is in no position to judge his particular choice “.
To prove the point of Logans’ argument would be when he said “ society looks down upon freakish and extraordinary individuals alike and views them with suspicion “. He also said “ ordinary people fear of what they don't understand “. Nevertheless , the evidence strongly points that everyone is conformity with one another .
Lastly , I agree with the author because I don't think that people should try to be like others . People should also not change for society to like them. Logan said “ To be human is to be an individual human , with individual tastes , talents , values, and dreams that are distinct from those of others” . I believe that everyone has that something that not everyone does and thats what makes them unique . And i believe this because everybody is different which means something is different about each and one of us.
In conclusion, I agree with what what Fey is arguing about. I agree that people should just be themselves and not try to be others . And also that people shouldn't do crazy things to get society's attention.

Five Ways You can Do Your Makeup Better
- Foundation and Powder First thing first , For the face you need to get a good foundation and a good powder . The foundation has to be your skin color , don't get one that's too orangey. Also don't get one that's too dark or too light because it will definitely look weird. If you have acne you can wear concealer ,concealer helps cover any type of pimples or spots (“18 MAC to School Makeup Tips”).
- Spread your foundation good and with care. After you're done spreading your foundation wait a little while for it to settle , then apply your powder cover up with a brush. You can add some bronzer or blush to frame your face or add texture (“18 MAC to School Makeup Tips”).
- Eyes Now for the eyes , you can add eyeliner with eye shadow or you might want it simple and just have mascara on . If you would like to make your eyes appear bigger you can put white eyeliner on your water line and put mascara also on the bottom eyelashes. When you put on mascara try not to make it clumpy. Only do a few cotes , don't do a lot because your eyelashes will get stuck together (“ Eye Makeup”).
- Eyebrows For the girls who do their eyebrows , you need to get a good eye shadow / brow liner that matches your hair on you your eyebrows . If you're doing it with eye shadow make sure you get a good angled brush . And if you are doing it with a brow liner then its best if you find a good shape that you like for your eyebrows to be or look . Also if you’re just going to fill them in use a brush and after your done making the shape , put concealer under and over the eyebrow so it can look a bit natural (“ Eye Makeup”).
- Final Touch Lastly, for your final touch you can add lipstick or lip gloss . I prefer personally lipstick ,I love lipsticks . And you can also spray your face with “ Makeup Forever Stay On Spray “ and what that does is makes your makeup stay all day .
